eatmypaleo:

I swear this is the healthiest holiday I’ve ever had.

Snacks:

  • Shrimp cocktail
  • Nuts
  • Guacamole and plantain chips
  • Cold picked crab
  • Cheese plate

Dinner:

  • Turkey with oysters baked inside with aromatics
  • Cauliflower bisque
  • Raw kale and brussels sprouts salad
  • Roasted vegetable salad
  • Potato and delicata squash salad with arugula, pomegranate seeds
  • Smashed sweet potatoes - portion made for me without sugar
  • Mashed potatoes with rosemary and chive
  • Stuffing - portion made for me without bread with mixed mushrooms and herbs
  • Cranberry relish and cranberry sauce

Dessert

  • Apple pie and pumpkin pie that were driven down from some farm in New Hampshire. I ate some of the filling out of the pumpkin, holy hell do I love pie, and it was FANTASTIC! Saw the ingredients and that was a homemade pie my friends. Yum-O. PIE PIE PIE!
  • 3 ice creams - all gone, they ate them up! Two people want to buy the maple and one the cheese. Woo!

My name is J and I approve of this Thanksgiving. 

OH! Bonus: Nobody wanted to pick the carcass so I did it, gifted at the end with the le skeleton. Hello stock!
