Grilled Cedar Smoked Salmon with Spice Rub
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 TBS paprika
- 2 TBS salt
- 1 TBS brown sugar, light, (optional)
- 2 lb salmon, filet
- 2 TBS lemon pepper
- 1 natural cedar plank, (untreated), *
Cooking Instructions
- Soak under water for at least one hour:

- Preheat your grill to medium-low heat, about 350ºF.
- Wash and pat dry with paper towels:
- 2 lb salmon, filet
- In a small bowl combine:
- 2 TBS salt
- 2 TBS lemon pepper
- 2 TBS paprika
- 1 TBS brown sugar, light, (optional)
- Press the spice rub all over the salmon.
- Place soaked plank on the grill, close the lid and heat for 3 minutes.
- Flip plank over and place the spice-rubbed salmon over the hot plank.
- Close the lid of the grill and cook about 15-20 minutes or until desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
